HOTLINE

Hotline is a brand of wing sauces based on the city of Boston and the unique culture of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Most packaging for hot sauces based on the city of Boston lack originality. They are mostly tourist souvenirs, with design as a second thought. I wanted to change that and create a brand of hot sauces that has intention, nostalgia, and meaning for the people of Boston.

Hotline Logo, inspired by graffiti and the signage seen throughout the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.

Hotline Icon Design, a main icon of a chicken to encompass the use of Hotline on chicken wings and an icon for each heat level. Each sauce is tracked on a color scale of red, orange, green, and blue, which are the four main lines of the MBTA.

The icons are used as train stop signs on the heat tracker shown on each wing sauce label. The train illustration has four cars for four sauces, filled in depending on the heat level of the sauce.
